Synopsis
The small village of Cuckold Bridge was founded by a French colonel who was determined to bring a sewerage scheme to it. After 400 years of malfunction, disaster strikes and disrupts the lives of several villagers. Most affected are the Casey and Tap family members. They struggle to find new meaning and love in their lives to replace those lost. The story is told through the words of a 16 year old girl whose mother was sadly taken in the sewerage disaster.
